Tracey E. Pinkston, J.D., M.D.
We offer an Environmental, Integrative Internal Medicine approach with a wellness perspective as well as holistic natural wellness products and services. We carry a wide range of nutritional supplements to meet your health care needs and budget.
We are happy to offer LDA (low dose allergy immunotherapy) to treat a wide range of food, inhalant, and chemical sensitivities, and some autoimmune conditions.
We are delighted to introduce our patients to two new light-based therapies: Far Infrared Sauna and the brand new intravenous light therapy UVLRx™. These both have exciting treatment applications! Please see the specific pages of this website for more information. We are also pleased to offer Skype consultations for people living out of town (call for more details about this).
We also offer:
Evaluation and treatment of Lyme disease and co-infections.
Evaluation and treatment of heavy metal toxicity, such as lead poisoning, with FDA approved chelation, which may be covered by certain insurances. (We also offer chelation for cardiovascular and peripheral vascular disease. Chelation for cardiovascular disease has an excellent success record, but despite the recent TACT Trial showing prevention of heart attacks and strokes in patients who have chelation therapy instead of other interventions, chelation for cardiovascular reasons is not currently covered by any insurance. We offer an affordable cash pay rate for patients wanting to have this type of therapy.)
Comprehensive thyroid evaluations and treatment.
Evaluation and treatment of chronic conditions such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and adrenal fatigue.
Evaluation and treatment of candida and yeast overgrowth syndromes.
Evaluation and treatment of chemical and environmental sensitivities. This includes "food drop-out" in which one is able to tolerate fewer and fewer foods due to increasing food reactions.
Comprehensive evaluation and treatment of chronic digestive problems including irritable bowel syndrome, gastroesophageal reflux, Leaky Gut Syndrome, allergic colitis, and mastocytosis.
Evaluation and treatment of inflammation.

What we don't do: (We ask that you see your primary care physician or urgent care center if you are experiencing any of these or related issues. Your acute illness and injuries and screening tests are very important--please make sure you see your primary care physician for these evaluations!)
We do not manage acute illnesses, such as bronchitis, influenza (flu), upper respiratory infections, sinusitis, and routine urinary tract infections.
We do not treat injuries, such as sprains, strains, fractures and rotator cuff tears, and others.
We do not perform well woman exams such as pap smears and breast exams.
We do not manage age-based or routine screening exams such as colonoscopies, mammograms, PSA testing and prostate exams, and other similar screenings.
We do not perform Workman's Comp or Disability physicals or evaluations.
We do not treat chronic pain with prescription narcotics nor prescribe controlled medications. Chronic pain patients should seek the care of a Pain Management Specialist.
We do not perform any routine or acute pediatric care. (Children may be seen in our practice on a case-by-case basis when the child has environmental illness, autistic spectrum, allergies, and auto-immune diseases.) All children seen in our practice must have a pediatrician actively following the patient along with Dr. Pinkston throughout their treatment course.
Due to the specific nature of our practice, we require patients to maintain a primary care physician to meet these needs.
